Raze Edgar

Hi, I'm Raze Edgar, a fiction writer drawn to the shadows between words, the questions that have no clean answers, and the stories that dare to live in the uncomfortable in between.

I have loved stories for as long as I can remember. As a child, I didn’t just read books; I fell into them, and always came out a little changed. That wonder never left me. It just got darker and deeper as I grew older. Now I follow it into the stories no one else wants to tell, the ones that begin with questions no one dares to ask. What if the world is stranger than we think? What if people are more broken, more beautiful, and more terrifying than they appear?

My writing doesn’t stay in safe or simple places. I’m drawn to characters who aren’t clearly good or bad, to worlds that feel almost normal, but something is off, and to feelings that are hard to put into words. I believe fiction isn’t just meant to comfort you, it’s meant to shake you, wake you up, and stay with you long after you’ve finished reading.

Music is my other world. It moves through my writing process, shaping mood, pace, and emotion in ways I can feel but rarely explain. A single song can unlock a scene; a melody can become a character’s heartbeat.

Every story I write starts with a question and ends with another. I write for people who want fiction that stays with them, that follows them out of the story and refuses to let go. If my words find you in a quiet moment and make the world feel a little bigger and a little more mysterious, I have done exactly what I set out to do.
